The Ford Expedition sets a high bar for full-size SUVs when it comes to power, style, comfort, intelligence, and so many other musts. Now, the new 2022 Ford Expedition raises that standard higher than ever while also serving up its most off-road-capable version yet.
One of the biggest upgrades for the 2022 Ford Expedition is the introduction of the first-ever Timberline trim. The most rugged Expedition yet, the Timberline boasts best-in-class ground clearance at 10.6 inches as well as a standard 440-horsepower high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 and features like Trail Turn Assist.
“Timberline sets a new standard with full-size SUV customers who need more passenger space, great off-road capability and a basecamp for life’s journeys,” said Mike Kipley, Ford Expedition chief engineer.
Ford is also ramping things up in terms of tech with the 2022 Expedition. The latest Expedition gets SYNC® 4 standard and offers SYNC® 4A with a 15.5-inch touch screen on select models. Add features like an available 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen® Unleashed Sound System and enhanced rear-seat entertainment with Amazon Fire TV built-in, and the 2022 Ford Expedition is the ultimate road-trip vehicle.
Speaking of road trips, the Expedition Platinum will make them easier than ever with Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway Driver-Assist Technology. BlueCruise works on more than 100,000 miles of highways across North America, letting you take your hands off the wheel so you can relax and enjoy the ride.
The new 2022 Ford Expedition arrives at North Brothers Ford in Westland, Michigan, early next year. To learn how you can be one of the first to take the Expedition for a test drive, contact our friendly sales team.
